2018 observations and new products

Philips SpeechLive- Philips SpeechLive cloud-based dictation workflow software was by far the most popular product we deployed for our end users in 2018. Many of our law office customers were looking for a cloud solution provided security, backup, encryption as well as 24 x 7 access. Philips SpeechLive provided all of the above and more. Philips has done a great job in keeping current the mobile recording application for Android and iOS devices. Each subscribed user to Philips SpeechLive receives the mobile recording application at no charge Philips SpeechOne- This new wireless microphone designed specifically for dictation and speech recognition was released in December 2018. After its debut at the RSNA conference in Chicago limited inventory began shipping. We believe this will be a very popular product in 2019 and fills a market niche that has needed a reliable wireless microphone for speech recognition and Philips products. Dragon Professional Patch- Nuance released a patch for their Dragon professional 15 speech recognition software. This patch takes the software to version 15.3 and addresses issues that some users had reported with Office 365 and Windows 10 Philips Enterprise 6.0- many of you know we specialize in the Philips Enterprise dictation workflow product. This latest version provides web access for remote users and leverages Active Directory to manage smart phone users licenses. This product continues to be very popular with law firms and public safety agencies throughout the United States.

Olympus 9500/9000 recorder- Olympus introduced a new digital handheld recorder during the summer of 2018. The 9500 model utilizes Wi-Fi for uploading whereby the 9000 model recorder is identical but without the Wi-Fi features. Chicago Technology Luncheon in March 2019- Voice Automation will be hosting a technology luncheon for law firms on March 13, 2019 at the Allegro Hotel in downtown Chicago. We will be presenting along with the Nuance/Dragon speech recognition team. We currently support well over 200 law offices in the Chicago Loop area.
